Division: The Consumer Data Right Division manages the ACCC’s work to develop and implement a Consumer Data Right (CDR) in Australia.
About the role:
As an Executive Assistant within the Consumer Data Right Division, the candidate will be responsible for providing support to senior executives, in addition to broader duties and administrative assistance as required to the Division as a whole.
The position requires the ability to work under pressure, prioritise work tasks effectively within a dynamic and fast paced environment, and respond quickly to changing demands within tight timeframes. It will suit someone who is well organised, has strong communication skills and is able to build and sustain positive relationships in a service delivery environment, consistent with the Agency policies and the APS Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide high level executive and administrative support.
- Effectively manage multiple complex diaries and ensure the timely provision of material for all meetings and other engagements.
- Undertake secretariat functions for meetings: prepare agendas and minutes, print papers, manage invitations and RSVPs, arrange meeting rooms and video conference bookings and catering as required.
- Undertake budgeting and associated reporting responsibilities, including acquittal of expenses such as credit card reconciliation, coordinating payment of invoices and monitoring expenditure against budgets.
- Assist in the management of documents, including proof reading, editing, drafting and collating.
- Book and manage travel arrangements.
- Assist team members during absences and times of high demand.
- Experience as an Executive Assistant
- The successful candidate needs to be reliable, diligent, pay close attention to detail and be able to work collegiately as part of a strong and collaborative team located across Australia.
- The role requires strong IT skills in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook etc), and an ability to quickly learn other software specific to the role.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one.

- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
