This role is based within the newly created Global Division. Global is responsible for developing and implementing our global engagement and internationalisation strategy ensuring UNSW retains our position as Australia’s Global University and developing existing international links to maximise UNSW’s contributions across the world and its reputation as a university contributing to education, research serving society.
Why your Role MattersAs the Executive Assistant you will act as the first point of contact for our Global Division and provide high-level, executive support services to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global, the Pro-Vice Chancellor International and senior colleagues in this area.
Offering high level administrative and logistical support, you will bring a proactive approach to coordinating and managing the senior leaders’ calendar, emails, meetings, and committee activities, prioritising tasks and aiding in response preparation.
Who you are: We’re looking for a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills to build trusted working relationships across the University. As an analytical thinking and natural problem-solver, you’ll provide advanced administrative and logistical support to enable the Division in furthering their strategic goals that delivers our mission on the global stage. You will hold existing executive support experience alongside:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Superior written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced and a commitment proactive service.
- High level organisational skills with proven ability to use initiative, establish competing priorities and sometimes competing deadlines.
- Advanced level of computer literacy across Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated experience supporting projects and initiatives.
