Our client is a well-established, mid-sized business that imports and distributes Organic Raw Food materials. They import over 400 products and processes into 2500+ items and deal with 40+ suppliers around the world.

About The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to provide assistance and support to the CEO in her role in Managing the Finance, HR, Purchasing and Sales Function. This role will predominantely focus on the Purchasing Department, managing supplier & logistics communications and maintaining Purchase Order documentation and records within our system and established processes. This is a full remote role but it would be desirable if the successful candidate lives in Sydney or the Central Coast. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing Administration
  • Incoming Freight and Logistics Administration
  • Supplier Communications
  • Maintain Import Permits & Organic requirements
  • Administration/Assistance Support
About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of administration and EA experience
  • Above average competency in MS Office products and familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Proven track record of being able to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to efficiency
  • An innate passion for being organised and a love of juggling priorities

It would also be desirable if you have:

  • Interest in Procurement, Import, Distribution and/or Organic Food business
  • Prior experience or education in project, general or operations management in a Small Business
  • An interest, experience or education in entrepreneurship/business
