As one of the world's leading grains research organisations, the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) plays an integral role in driving research outcomes and innovations that directly benefit the Australia's grain industry.
We are seeking an Executive Assistant working in our Toowoomba and Adelaide offices.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the General Managers which may include; diary management, typing, handling of incoming/outgoing mail and emails; generate/draft emails, correspondence, invoices, reporting, filing and internal paperwork.
- Organise domestic and international travel for General Managers including obtaining overseas Visas when required, flights, accommodation, vehicle hire, transfers etc. in line with meeting schedules, budgets and time restraints.
- Draft agendas and compile papers for various meetings as required. Manage meetings by providing minute taking and follow up action list. Manage all associated activities including venue arrangements, catering, invoicing, and other requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings and events both off site and internally. Facilitate attendance and prepare required documentation e.g. agendas, and other relevant material.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualification in Business Management/Administration or significant experience in a similar position.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to liaise professionally with various levels of senior and Executive Management and Board members.
- Team player to deliver desired outcomes.
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise work according to operational deadlines.
- Must be proactive and mature in their approach to work.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be prepared to travel as and when required.
- Must be willing to undergo all Pre-employment Medical checks.
