About this role
We are seeking a highly organised, adaptable, and resilient Executive Assistant to support our Perth Private Business Tax & Advisory team.
This position suits an individual who can ‘think on their feet’ and display a high level of initiative, whilst also approaching problems with a solutions mindset. Being able to anticipate the needs of your stakeholders before and as they arise is a valuable skill that you will develop and utilise in this role.
As an internal client-facing role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. As such, you are someone who takes a great deal of care and pride in their work, and endeavours to always deliver to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting Partners and the broader Private Business Tax & Advisory team
- Database and system management – Salesforce CRM, Xero and iManage
- Email and diary management / meetings for both internal and external – room bookings, organising catering, assisting with room set ups, agenda preparation and meeting minutes.
- Client onboarding including assisting with preparation of engagement letters and completing domestic and international conflict checks
- Formatting of documents, presentations, proposals and preparing letters in line with Grant Thornton brand guidelines
- Coordinate and manage travel
- Manage and coordinate client and firm events
- Expense management via Concur
- General administrative tasks as required
Please note that additional training in our systems can be provided to those with no prior experience in this area.
Skills and experience
Required
- Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
- Conscientious with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills, with a positive approach to teamwork and the ability to collaborate with and manage expectations of various stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams
