We value diversity and inclusion and foster an environment of collaboration, flexibility, and support for our staff.We’re in search of an Executive Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in providing responsive and solution-focused administrative support to the Director, Transport Projects.The Transport Projects Directorate sits within the Infrastructure Delivery Division and delivers civil infrastructure projects including roads and bridges, rail and marine, through from point of funding approval, scoping and assessment in procurement, design, delivery and commissioning.Key responsibilities of the Executive Assistant will include managing diary appointments, coordinating functions and travel arrangements, handling email and meeting arrangements, and maintaining efficient file flow and records management. You'll work autonomously under limited direction, undertaking various administration and coordination functions across the Directorate to support key programs and projects. Additionally, you'll assist in managing cross-functional issues, drafting responses to correspondence, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures. Adaptability, autonomy, and a positive attitude are key to succeeding in this dynamic role.We're looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should thrive in fast-paced environments, possess exceptional organisational skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and departmental business applications. Your ability to work under limited direction, both independently and as part of a team, coupled with your analytical mindset and sound research skills, will set you apart as an ideal candidate for this role.The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage competing demands effectively, prioritise tasks based on business requirements, and deliver high-quality administrative support with attention to detail and professionalism. The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check (NPC) prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.Remuneration
