The role
As the Executive Assistant, your primary role will be to provide proficient and professional executive and administrative support to the Vinnies Housing CEO and Leadership Team. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and excel in problem-solving while exercising discretion. Your responsibilities will include preparing minutes, writing reports, managing communications and digital platforms, and assisting with various other projects and tasks. You will align with our commitment to safety, operational excellence, values-based leadership, and continuous learning, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work autonomously or collaboratively as needed.
This is a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) based in South Brisbane.
To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria:
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in administration, supporting senior leaders and regional teams.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and cloud-based software operating environments
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and time management skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Continuous learning mindset with a drive for improvement
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and embrace emerging technologies
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
• Resilient and adaptive with a professional attitude that promotes SVdP’s core values
• Ability to work with a diverse range of key stakeholders
• Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
