Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Yarra Ranges this exciting design leadership role offers a remarkable breadth of creative and progressive place making opportunities. With a team of Urban Designers and Landscape architects you will develop and shape the future of 64 activity centres, two significant precincts and a vast array of open and public spaces. Driven by a strong ethical compass you will immerse yourself in ecologically sustainable and climate resilient solutions, strong Indigenous outcomes and truly gender-inclusive concepts.
What you’ll bring to our team
- Expertise in developing and implementing Urban Design policies, frameworks, and masterplans to enrich community spaces across 64 activity centres.
- Excellent team building skills as a team leader
- Visionary leadership in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, guiding the team towards delivering integrated strategic plans and design excellence.
- Commitment to community engagement and project stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

- Full-time permanent position (76 hours per fortnight).
- Salary from $121,469 (Band 8) per annum, plus superannuation.
