The Opportunity
Liverpool Plains Shire Council is seeking a passionate Customer Services Officer who will deliver a superior frontline customer experience as the “face” of Council. The Customer Service Officers are the Ambassadors of Council's Customer Service Charter which affirms our commitment to the community by creating a lasting impression for our customers. You will contribute to the effective operation of Council’s Administration Centre and Visitor Information Centre through delivering quality customer service from point-of-enquiry to resolution, handling customer enquiries, requests, transactions and complaints in an efficient, professional and responsive manner and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with Council’s services.
You will also register customer enquiries, requests and complaints, ensuring accurate information is entered into business systems and correctly assigned for resolution and response, undertaking necessary follow-up to ensure requests are resolved and customers informed.
You shall be required to work at our Quirindi based Administration Centre and at Willow Tree Visitor Information Centre.

About YOU:
Experience in providing customer service in a high volume fast paced complex environment.
A strong understanding of the principles of excellent customer service.
Experience in a face-to-face and phone based customer service role.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

This Grade 4 position has a salary range from $29.92 -$38.29, plus 25% casual loading, plus 10.5% superannuation, negotiable depending qualifications and experience.
