About the Role
The Facilities Coordinator oversees and coordinates the maintenance and repair of our facilities and is responsible for coordinating and managing the development, implementation and monitoring of asset maintenance.
The Facilities Coordinator assists in ensuring that the facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functional, providing a positive experience for staff, visitors, patients and participants.
The successful candidate will:
- Identify and undertake due diligence on potential contractors.
- Schedule and coordinate providers and contractors.
- Support development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
- Document control and record management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and seek funding for these projects.
- Support with developing expenditure proposals.
- Assist with project management in consultation with a range of stakeholders including minor building works and infrastructure improvements.
- Procurement and invoicing.
- Work according to a roster including evenings and Saturdays.
- Take calls and attend to facilities matters after hours.
- Experience in facility management.
- Experience in the coordination of service, repairs, and maintenance, and interacting with trades and building contractors.
- Experience and demonstrated success applying appropriate scrutiny to quotes and invoices, as well as operating within the budget constraints of a not for profit organisation.
- Demonstrated understanding of ethical issues of procurement, including conflict of interest, competition, and transparency.
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and own vehicle to be used for work purposes.
- Current unrestricted eligibility to work in Australia.
