The Opportunity
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Facilities Coordinator plays a key role within the business overseeing all activities in relation to facilities management, health & safety standards are met, and necessary actions taken in due time ensuring smooth operations of business. The Facilities Coordinator joins a dynamic team with a fantastic culture and growth prospects where you’ll be challenged and supported to achieve both personal and business goals. This role will be based in the southern suburbs of Perth supporting both Western Australian sites and the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end process of all R&M, including procurement of service contracts where viable & review for ongoing efficiency, cost reduction & the quality of work performed
- Source and coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled contractor services to support the maintenance of our facilities to desired timeframes
- Always support a collaborative focus of safety adherence that is in line with our WH&S objectives
- Support our team with effective and time efficient action and communication that leads to achieving the right outcome and is cost responsible
- Manage service provider relationships to drive mutually beneficial outcomes in line with our strategy including service level agreements
- Steer, review & make recommendations to optimize our costs, efficiency and outcomes on a continual basis
- Assist in the preparation and review of our budgets to meet our objectives for each financial year
- Ensure all compliance safety testing is scheduled and completed on-time
The Successful Candidate Will Posses
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong business and commercial acumen within the retail sector
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster to respond to unforeseen events
- Ability to plan, be organized, communicate effectively and meet competing priorities to see tasks through to completion
- Be approachable, engaging & build relationships with key stakeholders
- Solid working knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
