The Role:
Join Auto & General as a Facilities Coordinator, where you'll oversee daily operations to ensure top-notch facilities that prioritise safety and efficiency for staff and visitors. This role is perfect for service-oriented individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standards, creating a thriving work environment for all.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a customer service background that is seeking their next challenge! This is a full-time position based in our North Lakes office however, travel to our other sites is required.
Accountabilities:
- Promptly action and then manage facilities incidents and requests in MyService.
- Respond to facilities-related issues and ensure that they are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Facilitate works with external contractors to manage routine maintenance tasks, repairs and specialised maintenance to ensure all assets are safe and functional.
- Assist with contractor work to minimise disruption to the rest of the business.
- Report any issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that all any additional/ad-hoc services performed have been completed as expected and are no outstanding tasks.
- Ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain effective channels of communication with all stakeholders both written and verbally.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering positive results.
- Possess a mindset that is positive, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Being receptive to learning opportunities to overcome challenges to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated administrative experience in a busy environment.
- Ability to liaise with suppliers, trades and subcontractors and provide direction.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and respect for confidentiality.
- Valid Qld driver's license (or equivalent).
- Travel to other sites is required, mostly between North Lakes and Kawana.
