To keep pace with our ambitious development goals, Eternus is now seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and manage our portfolio of buildings across SE QLD.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for users of our property portfolio.
This position requires expertise in facility management and your commitment to creating safe, accessible, and welcoming environments will be instrumental in improving the well-being of our residents.
Relevant Duties
- Facility Management: Effectively manage and maintain the company's existing property portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all relevant regulations. This includes developing and maintaining asset management plans for the properties within the company’s portfolio.
- Maintenance and Accessibility: Coordinate and oversee all property maintenance and improvements across the organisation’s property portfolio to ensure accessibility and safety for NDIS clients.
- Client Relations: Foster positive tenant and NDIS participant relationships by being the first point of contact and addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Budget Management: Assist to develop and manage facility budgets, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures while ensuring quality service.
- Service Provider Oversight: Identify, engage, and supervise third-party service providers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-efficient housing and maintenance services.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Identify and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve energy and cost efficiency across the property portfolio.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that services provided to NDIS participants meet the highest standards.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarising NDIS property performance, client feedback, and compliance.
- Compliance: Ensure properties meet all regulatory and NDIS requirements, including accessibility standards and support services.
- 5+ years of experience in facility management
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, construction, and maintenance.
- Ability to drive to current projects in Gold Coast & South Brisbane.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of industry best practice, building codes and legislative requirements relating to facilities and asset management.
- Expert communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with NDIS guidelines and regulations
