KCH Lawyers is a busy boutique law firm in Rockhampton specialising in Family Law, Estate Planning and Estate Administration, Commercial Law and Cottage Conveyancing.
Our well-established law firm is located in Rockhampton, the Beef Capital of Australia. Ideally situated 30 minutes away from the stunning beaches of the Capricorn Coast and a gateway to National Parks and the gorgeous Outback. Rockhampton is a modern, vibrant city.
Tasks & Responsibilites
You will run your own files in relation to Family Law matters, with an emphasis on parenting disputes. The role may include involvement in other areas of general practice, including wills, estates and conveyancing.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience would be preferred but graduate solicitors are welcome to apply as the successful candidate can be offered training and mentoring by an experienced Family Lawyer.
Attributes required:
- Admission to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia
- Experience in running own files
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Good time management ability
- Experience with LEAP legal software is an advantage
The salary package will be commensurate with the experience of the candidate.
