No matter your age or stage, our inclusive culture has created a place where everyone can thrive.About the opportunity | Te whai waahiThis is a 12 month Fixed Term contractAs the Marketing Manager - Retail, you will spearhead strategic marketing initiatives to effectively communicate our brand messages and drive customer engagement within our Farm Source retail sector. Your role is pivotal in achieving our business objectives while reinforcing our brand position and ensuring profitability.Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and campaigns for Farm Source Retail, aligning with our brand values and overall marketing strategy.
• Market product and service offerings to our farming community, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and sales growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to bring retail marketing communications to life across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
• Utilize farmer insights to inform retail activities and optimize performance.
• Monitor and track retail marketing performance and budget, ensuring cost control and revenue generation.
• Manage the Retail Marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving talent development and succession planning.
• Work closely with the Marketing Lead team to ensure integration of Farm Source retail within our broader value proposition to farmers.

About you | Moe koeYou must be highly organised, proactive, bring second-to-none communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with people from all parts of the industry. You will need to be resilient, able to negotiate tricky situations and stakeholders, and have excellent attention to detail. Naturally curious and passionate about the agriculture space, your customer focused approach and ability to build rapport quickly will help you succeed in this rewarding role.Other key requirements include:

• Tertiary qualification in marketing or communications.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in marketing roles within a retail environment.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic agility to drive effective marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with a focus on team management and talent development.
• Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
