As a Field Staff Team Leader, you will:
Work closely with our Field Staff to ensure that the delivery of client centric services is in line with the vision and values of the organisation, producing quality care. Lead and motivate frontline workers, mentoring and coaching, supporting developing opportunities and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders; including office and Field Staff as well as clients, families and guardians
Provide ongoing guidance, mentoring and training to a team of community support workers
Complete documentation and administrative reporting as required
Assisting in the successful process of recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new staff to achieve client and business objectives
Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of your team including the recruitment, training, induction of our support workers and nurses
Manage client service feedback and complaints and ensure feedback process is addressed and complaints resolved
Maintain and encourage a safe work environment in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety legislation
Oversee skill validation of Field Staff that does not require clinical input
Yearly staff appraisal with Field Staff to determine areas of improvement to work on and recognise development and achievements
What you will bring:
People management experience with large and remote teams
Problem-solving abilities with the ability to think critically
Strong interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
Ability and willingness to embrace change
Experience with conflict resolution
Enthusiastic and capable of influencing and developing strong and positive team culture
Experience in the aged care sector or similar
