The Media Finance Assistant will support the Finance Manager, ensuring the accuracy and full delivery of Media Accounts and Billing. Helping to streamline and centralise the Media Finance function, this opportunity will provide you autonomy and end-to-end ownership of the media reconciliation process, running client media invoices, and system maintenance of media suppliers and clients.
You will:
- Drive strong collaboration with finance and system stakeholders.
- Help train agency teams on APEX loading and processes.
- Receive APEX media invoices from media reconcilers or direct from vendors.
- Investigate discrepancies, by querying with APEX team or Agency teams as required.
- Resolve Account Queries.
- Manage reconciliations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Review efficiencies/ processes and continue to solve gaps - test solutions.
- Ensure operational excellence - SF data integrity, revenue reconciliation, billing process.
- Drive automation - loading process, inventory management, billing process, MBAs.
- Provide support to PMX Media Intelligence for system solutions.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager & commercial teams to drive data integrity of forecasts across offline and digital and drive accurate revenue reconciliation process.
- Interrogation of forecasts/ strategic business review of increases/ decreases in revenue.
- Map data forecast and finance data, update APEX trackers and distribute to all relevant team's.
- Drive automation of revenue forecasting - Salesforce + BI
- Experience in media/finance reconciliation will be highly regarded but not essential.
- A self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong internal and external working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ownership and Accountability
- Spectra Media Desktop (SMD), Mediaocean and /or Pegasus, used in this role.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
