About the Role
They are looking for a Finance Assistant (part time 3 x days per week) to join their Group Finance team located in their Melbourne studio. Reporting directly into the Senior Financial Accountant, you will help to ensure the accurate and timely entry of vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable ledger.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Review, process and code invoices using AX Dynamics
- Process and review employee expense claims in our expense management system Fraedom
- Set-up weekly payment runs for approval
- Prepare overseas transfer payments
- Processing Amex credit card expenses
- Maintain petty cash
- Reconcile outstanding creditors to creditor statements
- Run month end creditor reports
- Ensuring timely completion of studio timesheets
Key to your success with this role will be someone who can take ownership of their work and consistently strives for excellence/ improvement. In addition, you will also require to have the following:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, Finance Assistant or Accounts Payable
- Experience using a medium to large ERP accounting and reporting system. AX2012 Dynamics is desirable
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Exposure to international markets
- Worked in a similar industry construction/design or professional service is desirable
- Ability to work effectively autonomously or group environments
