Reporting to the Central Finance Service Manager, the Finance Assistant will provide support to all areas of the department with a focus on Accounts Payable. Other responsibilities include:
- Assist in the facilitation of the invoice process
- Administering and maintaining the daily financial report and relevant files
- Import data from a range of databases and reporting tools
- Manage multiple communication tools and progress as necessary
- Updating stakeholder profiles to ensure stored information is current and relevant
- Matching, batching and coding high numbers of invoices
- Data entry and administration support work throughout the department
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and detailed financial reports
We are ideally looking for a good communicator with the natural ability to work within a team. You will demonstrate excellent IT skills (Excel confidence is essential) and be well organised to work autonomously.
Essentially, you will have strong financial administration experience, enjoy routine and accountability but also display the ability to take initiative. A great eye for detail and reconciliation experience are also essential.
