The Parliament of South Australia is seeking a dedicated and passionate Project Officer with experience in coordinating project activities, an ability to provide financial support, a strong attention to detail, exceptional verbal and written communication skills to join our Finance Team.
The Project Officer provides high quality administrative and project support and coordination for finance related projects within Parliament.
The Project Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and works closely with the finance team and key stakeholders to facilitate project planning, execution, monitoring and reporting while adhering to financial policies and procedures.

- Experience providing administrative support in a complex environment and proven ability to provide high level assistance within a team environment.
- An analytical mindset with a proven ability to take prompt action to solve problems, act decisively on own judgement and look to go beyond job requirements to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals by managing time, tasks, and risk. Meet deadlines and manage heavy workloads.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.
- A high attention to detail and ability to check accuracy of information, follow procedures and processes to avoid errors and take corrective action to minimise mistakes and notify others when appropriate.
