The Opportunity
We are looking for a vibrant Sales & Marketing Controller ANZ to join our Health and Medical Business Unit. As the Sales and Marketing Controller ANZ, you will be responsible for the full portfolio of controlling activities for our Australian and New Zealand business.
Reporting to the Finance Manager ANZ and working closely with the broader Finance team, you will generate financial analysis and reporting, drive forecasting and budgeting processes, and support commercial teams in making informed financial decisions.
This role involves a hybrid work arrangement: three days at our Head Office and two days remote.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Complete monthly and year end processes to ensure accurate accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
Manage budgeting and forecasting process
Support commercial team with analysis required for making financial business decisions
Be responsible for analysis of income and expenditure for month end reporting, plus the production of monthly management accounts, reviewing customer profitability and ensuring all statistical information is correct
Monitor return and risk, as well as internal control systems
Develop key internal and external relationships to deliver on financial targets
Identify and undertake process improvement initiatives across wider business
Support financial transactions and accountancy matters
Support for statutory reporting and taxation matters
Participate and provide input on company-wide projects
Lead self and business by championing our company's beliefs and behaviours
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include.
Proven experience in a similar finance and accounting role, multinational experience preferred
Relevant qualification in Bachelor of Business, Accounting/Commerce, or similar
CPA/ CA qualification
Strong commercial acumen and experience in business partnering
Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
Advanced technical and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Advanced Excel and knowledge of Power BI will be advantageous
Familiarity with large ERPs such as SAP
