Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, this Finance Director role is part of a cross functional team charged with the change & transformation strategy for a leading hearing device manufacturer. As the Financial Director your role will be highly visible and will see you heavily involved in driving growth and revenue opportunity in a value-add services offering for this company’s current client base. The Financial Director will sit as part of the local commercial leadership team and will deliver meaningful insights across the divisional and regional GM's and leaders.
This is a high profile and rare opportunity for a commercially experienced candidate to develop their strategic capability and be positioned for promotion opportunities in a global and diverse brand.
Your Tasks
- Driving strategic and P&L performance for the national operations through partnering with leadership teams, state managers, operational and financial stakeholders
- Build and maintain an advanced analytical decision support capability to support both strategic and tactical decisions
- Strategic partnering in solving the business challenges through effective problem-solving, identifying opportunities and translating recommendations into execution plans
- Budgeting and forecasting: building and owning the planning and forecasting framework (monthly, quarterly and annual) across the business and highlighting the impacts from challenges and opportunities.
- Business partnering - Gather information and context from stakeholders, simplify the insights, provide accurate business performance updates and develop recommendations to overcome market and business volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.
- Continuously evaluate opportunities for enhancement of systems (SAP) and process capabilities to maximise effectiveness and ensure seamless accurate reporting rhythm
- Scenario planning and analysis - predictive modelling to understand the business impacts.
Your Profile
Bringing a process improvement mindset, backed with a knack for commercial business partnering, you have deep experience in partnering with the business in a true commercial fashion. You have a passion for solving business problems and creating value add opportunities and revenue generation change mandates. You are extremely well rounded and have a natural strategic capability and are comfortable in steering a room full of stakeholders. You have demonstrated a track record in leading change and transformation projects. Beyond your technical capability, you are exceptional at stakeholder management, relationship management and communication is one of your key strengths. You are ambitious by nature, and are looking for an environment that will support your long term development and career progression.
