Finance Manager New Zealand

Then we might be looking for you. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Banksmeadow as a permanent full-time employee. Reporting to the CFO Oceania, you will focus on our New Zealand operations. 

What will you do?

The main responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage the staff to ensure the efficient and on-time delivery of services to internal and external stakeholders;
• Ensure Statutory & Group Monthly accounting reporting deadlines are adhered to;
• Month End Reporting – preparing Management Reports with necessary comments for Act vs Bud deviations;
• Prepare Annual Budgets workings and Monthly Forecast
• Coordinate & Drive External Year End Audit 
• End to end payroll function
• Accounts Payable Supervision – be escalation point for all Payable accounts. Review & approve vendor payments. 
• Accounts Receivable Supervision – be escalation point for all Receivable accounts. Coordinate Debtors reviews & drive Dunning process; 
• Review & update credit terms as necessary with the business, including new accounts;
• Drive controlling process and implement necessary changes to strengthen Internal Controls 

What do we expect from you?

• You have min 3 years’ experience in similar role 
• You have a Degree qualification in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• Your MS Excel skills are at an intermediate level or higher
• You are able to strong leadership abilities and have excellent communication skills
• You have a keen eye for detail and is able to work in a fast-paced environment
