Woods & Co Recruitment have teamed up with a leading Construction and Property Development company who have been around for decades and continue to set the benchmark for the industry. Due to a recent business restructure and major project wins, they now have an immediate need for an experienced Finance Director/Manager to join their team.
What do you:
- Prepare and update project feasibilities and able to build and test models in excel to ensure Senior management have the information necessary to make timely and accurate project decisions.
- Prepare and review forecasts against approved budgets at both project and divisional levels for Senior Managers to make informed timely decisions.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyse monthly WIP (stage cost) variance reports.
- Manage and provide financial input to project board reporting including analysis and commentary on variances impacting project objectives and key performance indicators.
- Ensure business processes / systems are established or implemented to enable Development Teams and Management to effectively manage projects and company objectives.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and processes to ensure delivery of development and group objectives.
- Support compliance and best practice across the business and continually review existing policy, process, and procedures in a drive towards best practice financial management

What do you need:
- High attention to detail, high ability to spot mistakes and correct them immediately
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field
- High level strategy experience on capital structure and development scenarios
- Experience is Property Development would be advantageous
- Strong experience in negotiating with internal and external parties
- CPA/CA accreditation
- At least 5-7 years of relevant Accounting experience
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
