Position: Finance Manager, Residential
ACH Group is seeking a purpose driven Finance Manager to step into a newly created role within their Residential portfolio to oversee the Operational Finances and deliverables for the Residential Division. This role involves leading a small team and partnering closely with the General Manager of Residential to provide essential financial guidance, variance analysis, budgeting and management reporting. The Finance Manager, Residential will offer insights and support to the Group Financial Controller and engage operational business stakeholders to drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong focus on Residential Division performance and partnering with the General Manager of residential operations to ensure budgets are met
- In-depth and insightful financial analysis to support the business operations and strategic initiatives of the Residential Division
- The development of accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the Residential Division
- Full understanding of variances with Residential Revenue and Rosters and take action to guide partners to resolution and to take action
- Preparation of accurate and timely divisional reporting of month-end and year-end closing activities
- Provide commentary and insights in Divisional Management reports
- Quarterly compliance reporting: Ensure accurate data for Residential Division
- Reporting, Aged Care Financial Report (ACFR), Aged Care Quarterly Financial Report (QFR)
- Consolidate the Divisional budget and forecasts including preparing detailed annual budgets and re-forecast
models interacting closely with the senior stakeholders and their team - Completion of divisional balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with End of year Audit.
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce and CA/CPA Qualifications
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering finance, strategic and operational plans
- Demonstrated experience working across an end to end accounting and reporting function and processes
- Passion to drive continuous improvement in business processes.
- Skills to perform a range of financial functions using Financial Management Systems, PowerBI and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills are essential).
- National Criminal History Record Check that complies with ACH Group Policy; no older than 12 months at commencement of employment.
- Current driver’s license
