About the roleCurrently we are recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer. The Finance Officer assists the Finance Accountants in the sound financial management of selectability and associated entities through the delivery of comprehensive timely and accurate accounting and payroll processing and financial administrative support services.

About youTo be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- proven high level organisational, administrative and project management skills, including the ability to set priorities against competing priorities and meet deadlines
- ability to work under minimal supervision with the capacity to exercise initiative in the application of work processes
- experience and competence at an advanced level in the use of MYOB Advanced and the Microsoft office suite, particularly excel.
- understanding of job costing processes
- ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, courtesy and discretion
- ability to build and maintain working relationships and work confidently with people at all levels
- high attention to detail
To be eligible to apply, you must possess the following
- be a team player
- Certificate IV in Accounting or Book-keeping or the equivalent work experience
- minimum two years’ experience in payroll processing or accounting
- Positive Notice Work with Children (Blue Card) – or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or Yellow Card Exemption – or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate ( visit https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au to access this free module)
- process improvement experience and ability to analyse information
- high understanding of the operation of the SCHADS award. Aged care, Nurses, Education & Health Professions.
