Form of workThe Andersen Partnership is currently partnering with an industry leading real estate company who are looking to add an experienced Finance Officer to one of their Eastern Suburbs offices.
The role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate recording and processing of financial transactions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
- Management of daily accounts payable and receivable.
- Assistance with month-end close.
- Creating accurate journal entries for the general ledger.
- Expense tracking.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Weekly reporting.
- Other ad-hoc accounting duties.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Degree in Accounting or related field highly desirable.
- Experience in an accounting position within real estate highly regarded.
- Strong experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Experience with Property Tree or Cirrus8 highly regarded.
