Drug Awareness Rehabilitation and Management (Drug ARM) is a not for profit organisation committed to reducing harms associated with alcohol and other drug use. Drug ARM has been a specialist provider of alcohol and other drug services since 1980 and currently operates throughout Queensland and parts of New South Wales.

About the role
Drug ARM has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our ‘For purpose’ organisation. The position is an integral part of our Corporate Services unit, supporting our frontline teams via the delivery of accurate and timely assistance with;
- Processing and individual Program cash-flows and budgets, including end of month processing;
- Cash management including bank account reconciliation and processing.
- Preparation of files, reports and relevant financial compliance activities relating to independent audit processes;
- Oversee inter-company and intra-company charges, transfers, processes and payments;
- Handling credit card processing and reconciliations;
- Processing of bank related transfers, receipts, loans, petty cash, asset maintenance arrangements; and,
- Regular liaison with Drug ARM management team members to support operational plans created specifically to meet the charitable goals of our organisation.
About you?
The key experience and skills desired for this position are:
- Two (2) years’ experience working within a finance department OR
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting
- Strong experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products;
- Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy; and,
- Strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to make a difference.'
