About the Role
This exciting new opportunity has become available to join the Finance and Performance team within the Industrial and Energy business unit as a Finance Analyst. This role will be reporting directly to the Administration Lead and will be based out of our Brisbane office. Role duties will include but not limited to:
- To provide direction and guidance to payroll and finance activities relating to the business unit and broader team
- Ensure contract obligations are met
- The ability to integrate data across sources and prepare customised reports to enable payroll to reconcile and calculate shortfall entitlements
- Resolve payroll remediation procedure requirements
- Recommend improvements and streamline processes
- Manage, collate and record data accurately within the databases
- Centralised billing support solutions
- Prepare and maintain standard costing data and reconcile weekly an fortnightly oncost reports
- Additional adhoc duties as required
- Day to day liaison with key operational team members to provide payroll and finance assistance
About You
- Strong payroll experience in an autonomous role with a high volume of transactions
- Advanced Excel experience (Pivot tables and V-Lookup) and a high level of comfort working with large amounts of data, information and payroll experience in systems such as JDE and Kronos
- Significant experience interpreting modern awards & enterprise agreements
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Energetic and positive can-do attitude
- Willingness to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels, both internally and externally
- Flexible in hours required to work as the daily routine can change at short notice and you may be required to work outside normal office hours / travel as required
- Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology
