About the role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this newly created role will expose you to a range of responsibilities within the construction business and across a number of related entities.
Financial Accountant
- Completed jobs analysis and reporting including commentary on variances
- Fixed assets management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Inter-company loan reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- General/Accrual journals
- Assisting in the preparation of year end statutory accounts for various entities
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills and experience
At Glenvill we believe quality is an attitude not an outcome.
We anticipate that you will already possess a strong level of acumen across the Microsoft suite - including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting (or similar discipline)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data input
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office 365 software including excel
Beyond that, you are reliable, detail oriented, considerate and demonstrate a genuine understanding of teamwork.
