The Department for Child Protection is seeking aFinancial Business Advisor to join on a full-time ongoing basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Contributing expert input into relevant financial strategic planning and policy processes and providing financial leadership and expertise across the Department.
- Undertaking the effective delivery of specialist guidance to influence the ongoing management and improvement of financial performance, reporting and analysis.
- Providing expert advice and consultancy on a range for opportunities and risks that may impact on DCP's financial management objectives.
- Assuming responsibility for complex and critical budget development and forecasting processes.
About You
We are looking for an experienced finance expert with a drive to implement complex and sensitive changes in a large organisation.
To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in the strategic management of financial resources and the ability to undertake complex Financial Business analysis and forecasting.
You will have extensive knowledge of whole of Government financial frameworks systems, associated Treasury instructions and Australian Accounting Standards and the ability to research and analyse complex and critical financial data.
