Financial Controller (15-Month Contract)

• Lead the Financial Control function in a growing P/E-backed business.
• 15-month contract
• Circa $200,000 per annum pro rata

Our client is a successful privately-owned company that has enjoyed significant success and growth in recent years. They are looking for a technical sound, interpersonally strong Financial Controller to backfill the position whilst the current incumbent moves to focus entirely on then a separate project.

Key duties will include: 

• Supervising annual budgets and monthly financial reporting processes
• Drawing up financial reports and presentations; providing analytics and insights
• Monitor and control the cashflow 
• Guarantee the completeness and accuracy of the company’s financial data, which also includes taking responsibility for various system balancing tasks and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Become the overseer of operational and financial policies and processes

Ideal Candidate Profile: 

• A relevant Bachelor's degree (Commerce / Accounting) 
• CA qualified from a top-tier audit environment
• Exceptional technical accounting skills and the willingness to get into the detail
• Experience in leading a finance team in a $100m revenue business
• Advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of accounting systems and processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
