Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support financial reporting activities.
- Analyse historical data, trends, and variances to provide insights and recommendations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Play a key role in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by leveraging data insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesise relevant data, ensuring the accuracy of financial projections.
- Data Management: Oversee financial databases. Ensure data accuracy and integrity for use in financial analysis and reporting.
- Client Support: Provide support to the investment team by scheduling client meetings and assisting in preparation of investment subscriptions among other documents.
- Expense Analytics: Monitor and track departmental expenses against budgets. Proactively identify data-driven cost-saving opportunities and communicate findings to management.
- Compliance: Ensure that all investment practices and financial activities and reports adhere to relevant regulations and company policies. Support the preparation of audit reports by providing accurate and well-organized data.
- Financial Modelling: Assist in building financial models to evaluate business scenarios, potential ROI, risk management strategies and strategic initiatives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as investment, accounting, and operations, to consolidate financial data that supports client-focused investment strategies and decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 2-3 years relevant industry experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $90,000 - $100,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
