Financial Controller, Asx Growth Story

The role:

• This is more than a traditional Financial Controller role. Reporting to the CFO, there is a clear operational focus support the EGMs to deliver high performance outcomes and to build an efficient corporate foundation to scale for future growth.
• Take ownership of all accounting and financial reporting including monthly management reporting, semi-annual and annual financial statements.
• A great opportunity to transform financial operations to build a scalable, efficient finance function.
• Provide commercial financial support to EGMs with high quality financial and management information.
• You can expect to get involved in a wide range of activities and projects, e.g. supporting Investor Relations, maintaining asset valuation models, liaison with tax and external advisors, overseeing capital management and treasury.
• Preparation of financial statements, ASX reporting obligations and other regulatory and compliance obligations.
• Provide expertise with accounting for M&A, fund raising, implementation of new standards, FX. risk.
• Demonstrate a passion for improvements in system and processes and drive these initiatives.
• Leadership and development of local and distributed teams.

Ideal candidate:

• CA/CPA qualified.
• Technical and reporting experience combined with commercial nous and an operational orientation.
