- Permanent / Full-Time position (40 hours per week)
- Remuneration dependent on qualifications and experience + 10.5 % Employer superannuation
- Covered by our Enterprise Agreement
- Shift (6am to 2pm) some overtime might be required.

About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, the focus of this role is to support production by maintaining machinery to ensure :
Maintenance:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various site equipment.
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, as required.
- Carry out inspections, as required by PMs and other plans.
- Carry out machining of parts and components, as required.
- Support with documentation of maintenance activities and spare parts.
- Comply with site’s preventative maintenance and spare parts management strategy.
- Operate and provide services within organization’s vision and guidelines.
- Contribute to 5S activities, by ensuring that work area is kept clean, tidy and equipment is maintained to standards.
- Perform activities which may be delegated from time to time.
- Projects:
- Install new equipment and decommission old, as and when required.
- Support equipment overhaul and refurbishment projects.
- Participate in and support site’s capital investment initiatives.
About you:
- Trade qualified fitter/turner with vast mechanical maintenance experience.
- Experience within rubber or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work with variety of hand and power tools efficiently and safety.
- Ability to work on workshop equipment such as Mill, Drill, Bandsaw, Lathe, etc.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Strong safety focus.
- Available to attend call outs, as required.
- Available to work overtime, when required.
- Current Forklift licence.
- Basic welding competency desirable.
