We have an excellent opportunity for a Fleet Allocator to join our team at our Stapylton depot. .
Start time: 6:00am, however, the start time may slightly change depending on the applicants request
Roles and responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe and effective unloading of incoming and loading of outgoing vehicles.
- Ensure key deliverables are met
- Manage and allocate resources within your team efficiently.
- Demonstrate an understanding of government regulations related to Workplace Health and Safety, vehicle loading, safe driving hours, fatigue management, and load restraints.
- Apply knowledge of Dangerous Goods segregation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement Chain of Responsibility practices effectively.
- Create optimised transport routes based on business and customer needs.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of Mass and dimension limits.
The successful applicant must have:
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility.
- A strong sense of organisation and self-management.
- The capability to work within a team environment and autonomously.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven ability in creating transport routes based on business and customer needs.
- Coordinate and plan orders in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner.
- Understanding of Mass and dimension limits.
- A comprehensive knowledge of legislation, regulations and fatigue management.
- Strong knowledge surrounding regions.
- Transport/logistics experience.
