Fleet Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager

A new and exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Fleet Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager to join our team at Etheridge Ford. As an employee for Etheridge Ford, you are part of the Autopact Group which is one of Australia's largest dealership groups. We are looking for an experienced Fleet Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager with a proven automotive sales background and the drive to excel in a professional environment and develop and grow our Fleet Department.
 

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Identifying client needs and developing long term business relationships.
• End to end sales process.
• Generate new accounts.
• Achieve weekly, monthly and annual performance goals.
• Initiating and exploring new opportunities for fleet volume and growth.
• Handing all Fleet business in an efficient and helpful manner.
• Conducting regular follow ups of all fleet enquiries. 
• Manage all existing fleet accounts and clients.
• Providing exceptional customer service and solutions for your clients.
• Promoting the Dealerships range of vehicles to potential new vehicle business clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Automotive sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Provide input into the development of sales and marketing plans.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Prior automotive sales experience of at least 12 months’ is essential. 
• Experience as a Fleet Sales Consultant and/or Business Development Manager will be highly regarded.
• The proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and close a sale.
• Enthusiasm and drive to meet and exceed targets.
• Current driver’s licence is required.
• The ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a great working culture.
• The desire and motivation to learn and grow new skills.
• A willingness to learn and upskill.
• A positive attitude and the desire to succeed.
• A passion for the automotive industry.
