Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.
We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Managerto assist the overall running of the Food and Beverage Department including financial outcomes, service delivery and product presentation.
You will report to the Executive Food and Beverage Manager and your main duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Maintain the high quality standards of service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Utilise staff and resources to facilitate the operation of Food and Beverage outlets and services at Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa
- Coordinate the manning, set up and execution of events and functions
- Assist Food and Beverage Manager to control and analyse departmental costs
- Monitor subordinate manager’s control of labour costs and roster management, and direct where necessary
- Create and maintain relationships with individuals outside the Resort, such as suppliers, contractors, labour relations representatives and competitors
- Devise initiatives and strategies to ensure financial targets are met
- When necessary perform disciplinary actions in accordance with Resort policies and procedures
- Assist with the control in the control and analysis of departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget.
What you will bring to the role:
- Current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Current Approved Manager qualification
- Previous experience in a Multi outlet Hotel/Resort environment at 4 or 5 star level
- Thorough knowledge of liquor licensing and Food Safety
- Must have thorough knowledge of security, health and safety requirements in a Resort
- Proven customer service experience required in a management capacity
- A high level of computer literacy skills appropriate to the relevant environments normally used in developing and coordinating conference and event business
