The core capability requirements for this role are:
Conduct needs analysis in conjunction with management to determine training requirements of staff and contribute to the development of strategies to meet these requirements.
Lead the development and delivery of crime scene examination training programs in accordance with policies, procedures and standards.
Provide high level strategic advice to senior management on crime scene examination training initiatives that support a compliance driven and continuous improvement culture.
Undertake assessment of staffing of crime scene examination capabilities and prepare reports based on these assessments.
Establish and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable effective coordination, development, and delivery of training to advance crime scene examination capabilities of the QPS. Undertake the assessment and evaluation of internal training and development programs.
Apply adult education methodologies relevant to Queensland Police Service operational skills training programs and internal education and training policies and processes.
Role Requirements:Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience:
Knowledge of and experience in crime scene examination is highly desirable.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable.
Other:
The position will be based in Brisbane however local and interstate travel is required to deliver training.
