This is a full-time (35 hours week), 12-month contract opportunity where you will be based in Dubbo
This is a leadership role within the Western NSW Region with a specific focus on providing clinical and administrative supervision to members of the counselling team and planning, monitoring and program coordination under the supervision of the Program Manager to ensure the effective and efficient service delivery.
The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the team, Program Manager, government departments and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure all delegated programs are responsive to the needs of service users as well as monitoring the programs performance, outcomes and outputs against funding specifications. This collaboration will ensure positive program outcomes are achieved.
Your Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling
- This is a supervisory role, typically requiring 3 or more years' experience, including 2 or more years' experience supervising a small team of specialists.
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues impacting on families with young children
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge base of clinical care standards in treatment of adults, children and young people, including those affected by multiple issues including trauma, neglect, abuse and family violence and knowledge and understanding of the issues impacting on children and families during and following separation.
- High level skills and experience in the management of welfare services including budgets, physical resources and administration.
- Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and support.
- Computer literacy including a working knowledge of excel and word.
- Current driver's license.
