We have a position opening for a Functions Manager.
Both casual & full time salaried options can be discussed.
About us:
Having opened in January 2020, we operate 2 niche blank canvas event spaces on Newcastle Street and there is a rare opportunity to join our core management team.
We host a wide variety of events every week ranging from birthdays, wedding, engagement parties, corporate gatherings, product launches, masterclasses to anything you can dream up.
As we have a small tight knit team, please read carefully below in terms of what you should bring to the table to hit the ground running.
Ideally you will possess:
- Previous event/function management experience
- Approved Managers Card
- Responsible service of alcohol certificate
- Full weekend availability
What you will be in charge of:
- Weekly event preparations & set ups
- Hands-on managing functions
- Liaising with clients and suppliers on event days
- Managing floor and bar staff
- Set up and pack down of event space & relevant co-ordination
- Daily reporting and stock management
- Liaising with security personnel
- Till and cash Handling
