TRILITY is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Asset Management team based in Adelaide, SA.
The role
As a Graduate Engineer - Assets, you will work within the Asset Management (AM) team to develop skills, knowledge and relationships that will assist in maintaining and improving TRILITY’s Asset Management System and practices. You will have the opportunity to learn with hands-on experience across various treatment and asset management processes. Developing your skills within an Operations and Corporate support role in the asset management field.
The role will see you assist the Asset Manager, Asset Engineers and field-based Asset & Maintenance Coordinators with various AM related activities. This will include asset data collection, development and improvement of maintenance systems, policies and procedures. Learning and utilising Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, including TRILITY’s SAP and various client systems.
Key responsibilities
- Learn and develop your AM skills with a water industry leader
- Support AM water, wastewater, recycled water and biosolids operations
- Assist AM team with various operations AM support activities and projects
- Assist with management of asset whole of life (WOL) strategy determination and implementation
- Become familiar with and assist with development, review and implementation of AM policies, procedures, and other documentation
- Assist with AM data management, analysis and reporting
- Development and review of Repair and Maintenance (R&M), Refurbishment and Replacement (R&R) and CAPEX budgets
- Assist with AM business improvement activities such as new site start-up and tenders
- Review and improvement of AM systems based on guidelines, regulations, contracts, and compliance requirements
- Assist TRILITY to comply with quality assurance, maintenance, and asset management system requirements
- Support and contribute to the Operations drawing management function, including database management and the revision of CAD and pdf drawings
- Support the Fleet Manager's AM activities
- Support AM consulting and tender activities
- Other reasonable duties as directed
What we are looking for
- Recently completed or about to complete studies in a relevant engineering discipline
- A general understanding or eagerness to learn about asset management and how it is applied in the water industry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems
- Strong systems aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Willingness to learn and take guidance and direction from supervising staff
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with people at all levels, both internal and external to the organisation
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and conduct field work away from home for regular periods
