We are a well-established family owned group of companies based in Queensland. We grow, process and supply quality seeds, grains, pulses, stock feeds and food products from the highly productive and premium growing regions of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
About the Role
This role will be accountable for:
- Reporting on the financial performance of all Woods Group entities
- Ensuring taxation is reported and paid consistent with federal/state requirements and Group taxation policy
- Managing the accounting function for all Group entities ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards
- Managing the Treasury function across the Group
- Managing and leading the external audit process
- Managing and providing support to staff
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance and Accounting
- CA or CPA Membership
- 5 years Industry Experience in a Processing and Manufacturing Environment
- Must have held a Senior Finance and Accounting Position Including Supervision of Accounting and Administration Staff
- A working experience of MYOB or similar accounting software
- Experience within a large, family owned business would be an advantage
