About you
As part of the team, you will demonstrate a keen interest in delivering a high level of customer service and share great local knowledge of Canberra to assist our guests. Preferably, a background in luxury hospitality would provide an advantage, though not essential.
We’re seeking people with warm and welcoming personalities, a passion for customer service, with the ability to create surprising and memorable experiences for our guests.
Overview
Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements. Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
Experience
Minimum one years' experience as a receptionist or in a supervisory role within a luxury hospitality setting. We are happy to look at candidates with varying experience.
General Skills
Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritise, organize, and follow-up; be a clear thinker and remain calm when resolving problems, should they arise. Solid judgment, with ability to really listen, and follow directions thoroughly. You understand guest’s service needs, work cohesively with co-workers, and as part of a team. You work with minimal supervision and maintain the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Technical Skills
Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers.
