About opportunity
Under the leadership and guidance of the Supervising Haematology Scientist, you will be bringing your scientific skills and expertise to efficiently perform manual and automated diagnostic testing and performing all routine procedures in the area of Haematology on a rotating roster including weekends.
Applications should possess the following:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent with subjects in Haematology is required.
- Applicants shall possess an AIMS accredited degree with areas of study in Haematology, Coagulations and Blood Banking.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge, expertise and skills within the respective discipline (minimum experience 2 years).
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge of QC and troubleshooting.
- Adhering to company and quality policies and procedures,
- Participating in all the relevant QAP and internal education programs.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and with a high degree of independence.
- Availability to work on a rotating roster which includes Saturdays and Sundays (when required public holidays).
