ZF Oceania is responsible for both Original Equipment Sales as well as servicing the Aftermarket through Technical Support, Part Sales and Remanufacturing. ZF Oceania covers Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
ZF Oceania is looking for an experienced Head of Sales – Passenger Car Aftermarket to join our Leadership team.

The Position
Your key responsibilities will be delivering sustainable sales & margin growth with a customer centric focus and by forging trusted relationships with our valued customer base in the aftermarket. You will support key market channel & product/brand category development and lead the Oceania PC team. The role involves travel for attendance at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events and leadership meetings at the Sydney Head office.
Skills and Knowledge
- Manage and grow PC Sales & Margin in Oceania.
- Planning and execution of yearly OP, monthly FC and Out-Performance sales targets
- Drives sales development & improve market share within Oceania in line with defined brand and sales strategy, in alignment with the Oceania Head of Business & Head of PC APAC.
- Takes ownership and responsibility for the Business plan of Oceania.
- Negotiates commercial agreements with customers in line with given targets and delivers operational customer sales support on a daily basis
- Leads and develops a team of Sales KAM’s & manage field sales activity.
- Agrees and ensures delivery of Sales, profitability and customer satisfaction targets for the respective customer base
- Defines and implements individual KPIs for the team in a way that sales/profitability targets and customer expectations can be delivered
- Acts as key account manager for selected customers, supports the Head of PC APAC in servicing large global customers in the Sub-Region
- Grow customer relationships and business proximities.
Experience
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong knowledge of customer structures and expert on Passenger car aftermarket set up and dynamics in Oceania.
- Exercises “natural authority” in cultural context
- Engineering or automotive background and strong sales management skills
- Strong networking and coordination/cooperation skills
- Deep understanding of Oceania automotive market trends, country regulations, innovation opportunities and business landscapes
- 10+ years experience in senior management roles within Automotive PC Aftermarket.
- Proven senior management and leadership skills.
- Track record of performance in multinational / matrix style corporate environments.
