Health & Safety Superintendent

Health & Safety Superintendent Northern Star Resources are currently seeking an energized and influential Health & Safety Superintendent to join the Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Training (HSSET) Department at the KCGM Superpit operation in Kalgoorlie.  The primary role of the Health & Safety Superintendent is to maintain safety and health management systems and processes. Working a 10-hour day on a 5:2, 4:3 roster, this permanent, full-time, Kalgoorlie-based residential role, allows for great work-life balance, and an optimal lifestyle in the Goldfields. Key Accountabilities Develop annual Safety Improvement Plans (SIP) incorporating legislative requirements, Company objectives, standards, policies, and measures. Maintain incident response and investigation systems. Maintain risk management systems. Manage site occupational Health & hygiene requirements, promoting health across site. Ensure statutory reporting requirements fulfilled. Ensure injury management procedures are implemented to achieve a safe, early return to work by injured employees.
