About the Role
As the House Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting the Team Leader, by overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the house for effective service delivery.
This will include participant documentation, weekly/fortnightly stakeholder reporting, monitoring the house and client finances and all aspects of compliance, ensuring it aligns with Aspire Hub's expectations and legislation.
Additionally, you will guide, support and mentor Lifestyle Assistants and complete buddy shifts with new employees, setting them up to provide the highest quality care.
Above all, you will provide direct support to our participants ensuring that we deliver on our mission and values.
We are seeking a House Leader for the Archerfield area working in residential houses.
About You
You have a certificate III in Individual support or relevant qualifications and extensive and proven experience leading a house in a NDIS residential setting.
With your ability to build rapport with participants, stakeholders, management and employees and strong written and verbal communications skills, you are able to guide Lifestyle Assistants in the requirements of their role, provide timely information and support to the Team Leader, maintain daily operations of the house and ultimately provide quality support to our participants.
Additionally, you have experience working with complex behaviours and have the ability to observe triggers and apply de-escalation strategies along with personal care experience.

- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Manual handling is a requirement of the role.
- Experience with complex and challenging behaviours is a must.
- Willing to support our customers with personal care and domestic duties.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing.
- Capacity to meet physical requirements of the job.
- Current driver’s license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current QLD Blue.
- Current NDIS Worker Screen.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current First aid and CPR Certificates.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or higher.
- Current Police Check.
