Burra Foods is an Australian dairy processor that for over two decades has been producing and marketing value-added dairy products to the global food manufacturing market. 

With offices in Melbourne and Tokyo, our manufacturing plant is located in the heart of South Gippsland in beautiful Korumburra; only 1 hour's easy drive from Frankston and Dandenong, 50 minutes from Pakenham, 40 minutes from Warragul / Drouin. 

The role

Based at our factory site in Korumburra we currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Human Resource Administrator on a full-time basis. 

The HR Administrator will form a valuable part of the team, assisting with the delivery of HR processes and practices and encouraging support to our employees. 

Key tasks and responsibilities include;

• Co-ordinate the recruitment process including the advertising, phone screening and interviewing of candidates.
• Administer the Learning Management System and apply improvements to HR systems to ensure all data is up to date and accurate.  
• Administer HR Reporting requirements. 
• Co-ordinate the monthly recognition program
• Participate in cultural change programs to engage and communicate with our employees including the organisation of social events. 
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding process.
• Organise training programs to meet specific training needs.

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a HR or a recruitment-related role not essential but favorable.
• Strong administrative skills, with the capability to use a variety of systems.
• A high level of attention to detail with the ability to act with a sense of urgency.
• Accountable, responsible and honest attitude
• Must be able to maintain a strong degree of confidentiality. 
• A proactive, positive can-do attitude
• Ability to work productively as part of a team as well as individually. 
• Possess a willingness to learn and develop. 
• Strong and confident communication and excellent interpersonal skills
