The Role
- Serve as the first point of contact for managers regarding HR enquiries and provide timely and accurate advice.
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process for vacancies, including drafting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team on employee relations matters, performance management, and training initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of HR projects and initiatives to support the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
- Understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
